Redferns
A selection of concerts for specialist music picture agency Redferns. I have travelled the world and most of the music venues in Britain covering everything from Amy Winehouse at one of her first performances in the Borderline Club to Jay Z"s controversial appearance at Glastonbury. www.redferns.com
Showcases
Commissioned work for exclusive artist showcases. These include private parties, album launches and world premiere performances of new songs for top music industry executives. Artists covered have included Take That, whom I accompanied to Paris on Eurostar to photograph the launch of their album Circus, Will Young's 21st birthday party and private concerts given by Prince, Whitney Houston, Pink and Beyonce.
Pythia: Beneath the Veiled Embrace
Photography and artwork commissioned by Pythia. The concept for the album was an illustrative image featuring the band members for every song on the album. Photos were produced for a booklet to go with the album, and for publicity and PR as well as artwork for the singles. www.pythiamusic.com

NME
Working for NME got me into all sorts of bizarre situations from zooming around in Go Karts in the Nevada Desert with Dick Dale to the unveiling of a statue of Frank Zappa in Lithuania by a particularly enthusiastic fan club. It was the height of Britpop and I got to photograph Oasis at Knebworth, Radiohead in South Park, Oxfordshire, Blur in Dublin as well as many equally talented bands of the era such as Suede, Pulp and Manic Street Preachers.
Rocksound
I worked with Rocksound on some very visually extreme bands. Face masks, fire and moodiness were part of the course and the fantastic personalities would either be in your face, with hands, feet or even flames or stare at the camera with complete contempt or hatred. I never took anything for granted working with this publication.
